Melissa Lea A.

Lillian Fredrick Publishing was founded by Melissa Lea A. to honor her mother, father, and grandmother—three guiding influences whose love of learning and care for children continue to inspire her. Her mother always had books ready for her grandchildren, her grandmother had a heart of gold for every child she met, and her father taught kids about nature through hands-on moments on his farm. Their spirit lives on in every story Melissa creates. The company’s motto, “Lillie’s Golden Blooms of Timeless Tales,” reflects that legacy and guides all of her work.

Melissa Lea A. is the author of The Simply Learning Series. She is a proud mom to two amazing kids: a curious toddler girl who keeps her on her toes and a high-energy teenage boy who reminds her daily to embrace the chaos and the joy of learning in motion. Inspired by life with her children, she created the Simply Learning Series—a collection of early learning books designed to inspire little minds, spark curiosity, and make learning fun and memorable.

More titles are on the way in this growing series, along with exciting new projects in other series and genres she looks forward to sharing in the future.
